A resident reported encountering a crypto trading WhatsApp group on Facebook. Following the group’s instructions, the victim opened an account on the crypto asset trading platform, https://taimhex.cc. However, after believing they had earned substantial profits, the resident attempted to withdraw money but was unsuccessful. All told they lost more than $1,000. The website is no longer operational.
